"Hi.  My name is Karen Skidmore and I started the first ever CanDoCanBe Women's Network in January 2005. 

I have two children, the youngest starting school this school year and when I made the decision to work for myself, I was frustrated by the lack of business support choice.  There was little available to motivate and inspire a woman who wanted to move out of corporate life and build a business which reflected her family values, her need for flexibility and above all, give her fun and adventure.

CanDoCanBe was created and our networking meetings are growing fast and furiously.  There is obviously a need for more of these types of meetings - fun, informal and open to sharing.  I hope you enjoy our CanDoCanBe community and I look forward to meeting you at one of our events listed below."
